Organizing of 2016 CTPR by Master Management Study Program Tel-U
On December 21-25, 2016, the 2nd CTPR initiated by the Master Management Study Program was held at the Hilton Hotel in Bandung. The event was opened by the Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Ir. Mochamad Ashari, Ph.D consists of several activities such as keynote speeches, panel discussions, dinner talks, and industry visits. Some modules discussed in this forum are:
- Converged Policy and Collaborative Regulations.
- Managing Spectrum to Maximize Social Economic Benefits.
- Emerging Technology and Networks.
- Disruptive Digital Business and Economics.
CTPR (Converted Telecommunication Policy and Regulation) is a forum / community for practitioners, academics and regulators to meet in the telecommunications sector such as Mr. Rudiantara (The Minister of Communication and Informatics of Indonesia), Prof. Ho Chin Kuan (MMU University, Malaysia), Dr. Supot Tiarawut (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand), Ms. Eneng Faridah (MCMC, Malaysia), Dr. Rolly Rochmad Purnomo (BRTI, Indonesia), Mr. Niall Magennis (United Kingdom), Mr. Joseph Lumban Gaol (XL, Indonesia), and Dr. Oh Ser Wah (Whizpace, Singapore).
The general purpose of the formation this community is to discuss strategic issues related to communication trends and communication regulations in the world. Attended by 40 participants and 35 invited guests, this event was held successfully.

- “Competition Policy and Access Policy – Indonesian Experience” presented by Dr. Rolly Rochmad Purnomo (BRTI, Indonesia).
