Digital Marketing Training for Traditional Market Product in Sakola Pasar Community
On Wednesday, October 30th 2019 placed at Cihapit Market, was held the Training. The Digital Marketing Training for Traditional Market Product in Sakola Pasar Community was attended by 20 participant whose the traders in Cihapit. The participant is product traders like vegetables, meat, tofu tempeh, also fruits and the others daily needs.
On this occasion the training was divided into 3 session: First, about Marketing as general was presented by Dr. Maya Ariyani. Second, about Digital Marketing was presented by Dra. Indrawati, Ph.D and third, about Impact of Digital Marketing was presented by Dinda Zuliestiana, SE., MM.
Currently, the traditional market have started to be abandoned, many people like more shopping in modern market or they choose to buy the food by online. Cihapit market by the location is strategic and in the middle of the city, decreased visitors. Even though Cihapit market is a pilot market that was designed in a contemporary manner in 2017. But the current behavior of the community has been spoiled with conveniences, so that many people of Bandung who prefer to transact online.
This requires the introduction of digital marketing for traders. They are very enthusiastic to trade online, even though they have limitations, especially in the use of gadgets. By collaborating between Sakola Pasar and PD Cihapit Market, and education carried out by the Team from FEB Telkom University, it is expected to enable traders to “brick and click store” to increase the income and services to customers and the Bandung community in general.
