Learning Outcomes


The competences of MM Tel U Graduates are reached through the teaching learning process by using the four main modules (1) basic module, (2) functional module, (3) major module and (4) research module. Courses on functional and research module are aimed at developing the core competences. The courses offered to develop the core competence are marketing management, human resource management, financial management, operational and production management, strategy management and thesis.
Courses on basic module are aimed at developing the supporting competences. The courses given to develop the supporting competences include some preparation on case method and critical reading, accountancy, management and organization, research methodology. However, the courses on major module are aimed at developing other competences.
The courses given to develop other competences are in accordance with the major chosen by the students. For instance, if a student chooses the major of human resource management, the courses to be studied will consist of global leadership, talent management, knowledge management, business statistics and advanced research methodology.
The graduate competences or teaching learning outcomes of the MM Tel-U are composed according to the 8th level of Indonesian Qualification Framework (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia, KKNI) or. The graduate competences or teaching learning process outcomes of MM Tel U are as follows:
  1. Attitude:
    1. Internalizing academic values, norms and ethics.
    2. Internalizing independency, competition, and entrepreneurship.
    3. General Skills:
  2. Being able to identify managerial and organizational problems accurately.
  3. Being able to implement knowledge on organizational functions and management functions in managing different organizational types.
  4. Being able to design and conduct some research to study and develop knowledge in functional strategy.
  5. Specific skill:
    1. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in marketing management.
    2. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in human resource management.
    3. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in financial management.
    4. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in entrepreneurship management.
    5. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in company development.
    6. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in investment market and banking.
    7. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in globalization aspect and innovation management.
    8. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in Telco business modeling.
    9. Being able to develop advanced tactic and strategy in digital business transformation.
    10. Knowledge mastery:
  6. Mastering theories and practical knowledge in managerial (planning, organizing, staff formation, guidance and controlling as well as evaluation) and organizational function (marketing, operation, human resource, finance and strategy) in managing different organizational types.
  7. Mastering the knowledge in methods and techniques in studying recent problems and phenomena that can be used for the organizational development.
Curriculum of MM Tel U is designed to support the visions and missions of MM Tel U. Therefore, the offered courses and cases should be emphasized on the information and communication technology (ICT). The cases given are real cases in companies around the world to give some understanding and knowledge in the global world. Pertaining to the major module, MM offers the students two majors, i.e. telecommunication business, and also the latest one, digital business.
